Designing my engagement ring


These are the CAD designs of my ring from the jeweler. I decided to get a bespoke engagement ring and was inspired by my promise ring.

This process was similar to designing a GA as I had to make adjustments, review them and finalize them. It also helped me to collaborate as I collaborated with the sales team who then communicated my desires to the jewelers and CAD team. Overall it was an enjoyable process.





My fiancé also wanted a CAD version of his ring but his ring was not complex enough for the jewelers to make one. Having gathered more sketchup skills I decided to make a CAD version of his ring myself. 
I did this buy designing it in sketchup before taking it into CAD. Quite simple but effective.
