Academia- discovering myself as a designer

I have recently discovered secondary referencing through writing my dissertation. This is a new skill I have acquired through my academic writing.

Writing my dissertation has inspired me to take part in future academia, such as doing a student charade with international students about Islamic Gardens that I will later document. 

 I feel as though through this first semester of my final year I have discovered some of my key skills sets as a designer that allow me to stand out from other undergraduates;

Speaking in front of others

Presentations

I believe these are key skills that not all graduates have when entering professional practice as a lot of people lack confidence.  

I can draw, I can do photoshop but I prefer to write, to research, look at reports and do some sketches.
