I felt highly inspired when seeing a river with rocks poking through the waters surface. I created this design and began to replicate it in different formats and quite admired the pattern created.
My favourite aspect of this is that you don't know where it starts or ends nor do you know where the centre is. I purposefully used 3 different types of pens to explore the effect of fineness in my drawings. I believe this was successful as I was able to deliberate choose more prominent lines to give more of a rippled/layered effect.
