Walking Cleeve Hill- my future footsteps
Trekking up this wondrous hill allowed me to think about how resilient I can be, I pushed myself to walk faster, to take longer strides and keep going until my breath left my lungs. In spite of my walking partner wanting to stop I pushed on, I would not take the easy way out. I thought to myself "I have made it this far don't give up now." This is similar to how I feel about university, I have made it to almost the highest level of education and I want to keep going, keep pushing, keep unleashing my potential. Yes I will get tired, I will feel like giving up especially when others do too but the finish line is so close and I want to cross it with a smile on my face.
I walked not only for peace of mind and enjoyment but for health and fitness, similarly I am doing this degree for my own enjoyment and passion but also for a better future. This future is OURS, it will not just be my own but my family's and for many other people out there in the world- who will one day be able to experience happiness and make memories in the spaces I will create.
